Naseer Turabi
Naseer Turabi (; 15 June 1945 – 10 January 2021) was a Pakistani Urdu language poet. Playback singer Ahmed Rushdi played a significant role in Turabi's success and helped popularize his ''ghazals''. Early life and career Naseer Turabi was born in Hyderabad Deccan on 15 June 1945. His father, Allama Rasheed Turabi, was a religious scholar. Turabi came to Pakistan with his family after the independence of Pakistan in 1947 and settled in Karachi. He finished his basic education in 1962 and received his M.A. in Mass Communications from University of Karachi in 1968. Turabi was friends with fellow poets Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Nasir Kazmi, and Mustufa Zaidi. He began writing poetry in 1962. His first collection of poetry, ''Aks-e-Faryadi'', was published in 2000. Wadi-e-Hussain
Wadi-e-Hussain (, ''The Valley of Hussain'') is a large cemetery situated in the northern part of Karachi, along the Karachi–Hyderabad Motorway. It is the first cemetery in Pakistan to have an online presence. Wadi-e-Hussain has a dedicated section for children's graves and is a well-known burial site for Shiite Muslims. The Pakistani Instrument of Surrender () was a legal document signed between India (alongside the Provisional Government of Bangladesh) and Pakistan to end the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Per the trilateral agreement, the Pakistani government surrendered the Armed Forces Eastern Command, thereby enabling the establishment of the People's Republic of Bangladesh over the territory of East Pakistan. Abida Parveen (; ; born 20 February 1954) is a Pakistani singer, composer, musician of Sufi music, painter and an entrepreneur. Parveen is one of the highest-paid singers in Pakistan. Her singing and music have earned her many accolades, and she has been dubbed the Queen of Sufi music. Mustafa Zaidi
Mustafa Zaidi (born Syed Mustafa Hasnain Zaidi; 10 October 1930 – 12 October 1970) was a Pakistani Urdu poet and a civil servant. Early life In 1954, he passed the competitive examination and was sent to England for training before being given the posts of deputy commissioner and deputy secretary. He married Vera Zaidi, a German national, with whom he had a son and a daughter. In June 1970, he was dismissed from civil service along with 38 other Civil Service of Pakistan SPofficers by the dictatorial regime of General Yahya Khan.
