Narnack
Narnack Records is an independent record label founded in 2000. The label developed in New York City's underground music scene and quickly became known for its ability for developing new artists Coachwhips, OCS, Langhorne Slim, Thee Oh sees, ACID, Spiders & Hearts, Higgs, while also working with established bands like the Fall and the Slits, Lee "Scratch" Perry Narnack became home for a diversified group of musicians working with a wide variety of artists, from garage rock, alternative and punk to Americana, folk and dub/ reggae. In the spring of 2007, the company relocated from New York to Los Angeles, where it teamed up with Lionsgate Films for distribution. In its new residence, Narnack began a publishing division, Narnack Music Publishing, with a catalog of over 300 songs from past and present artists as well as composers. Coachwhips
Coachwhips was a garage rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 2001. The band consisted of John Dwyer (vocals, guitar), John Harlow (drums) and Mary Ann McNamara (keyboards, backing vocals, tambourine). In their second incarnation, Val-Tronic played keyboard/tambourine, and Matt Hartman (former guitarist for Cat Power and multi-instrumentalist for Sic Alps) played drums. Coachwhips are known for their stripped-down, unpolished garage rock and completely unintelligible lyrics, a sound that is similar to The Oblivians and The Gories. Ohsees
Osees are an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 1997, now based in Los Angeles, California. The band currently consists of primary songwriter and core member John Dwyer (vocals, guitar), Tim Hellman (bass), Dan Rincon (drums), Paul Quattrone (drums) and Tomas Dolas (keyboards). Osees sound incorporates a wide range of rock genres, including 1960s garage rock and psychedelic rock, punk rock, noise rock, art punk, and 1980s post-punk. The Slits
The Slits were a punk and post-punk band based in London, formed there in 1976 by members of the groups the Flowers of Romance and the Castrators. The group's early line-up consisted of Ari Up (Ariane Forster) and Palmolive (a.k.a. Paloma Romero, who played briefly with Spizzenergi and later left to join the Raincoats), with Viv Albertine and Tessa Pollitt replacing founding members Kate Korus and Suzy Gutsy. Langhorne Slim
Langhorne Slim is an American singer-songwriter, (born Sean Scolnick on August 20, 1980 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania). He attended high school at Solebury School in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, part of the SUNY system. He began to gain public notice through several years of touring with the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players and an appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. His song "Electric Love Letter" was chosen as number 5 on the ''Rolling Stone'' editor's top ten picks and was also in the movie ''Waitress''. Garrett Pierce
Garrett Pierce (born March 17, 1981) is an American singer-songwriter from California. Pierce has released three full-length albums and two EPs (Crossbill Records, Narnack Records). Early life Garrett began writing songs on guitar at the age of thirteen and put out several demos while living around Burbank, Glendale and Echo Park in Los Angeles in his youth. At age 22 he moved to Davis, California where he completed his first official recording, the in His Arms EP. Pierce then moved to San Francisco in 2005 where he began to perform at venues such as Bottom of the Hill and the Great American Music Hall and subsequently recorded his first full album, ''Like a Moth'', which featured fellow musicians Jolie Holland and Matt Bauer. The Fall (band)

Lee "Scratch" Perry (born Rainford Hugh Perry; 20 March 1936 – 29 August 2021) was a Jamaican record producer, composer and singer noted for his innovative studio techniques and production style. Perry was a pioneer in the 1970s development of dub music with his early adoption of remixing and studio effects to create new instrumental or vocal versions of existing reggae tracks. Hypernova
A hypernova (sometimes called a collapsar) is a very energetic supernova thought to result from an extreme core-collapse scenario. In this case, a massive star (>30 solar masses) collapses to form a rotating black hole emitting twin energetic jets and surrounded by an accretion disk. It is a type of stellar explosion that ejects material with an unusually high kinetic energy, an order of magnitude higher than most supernovae, with a luminosity at least 10 times greater. They usually appear similar to a type Ic supernova, but with unusually broad spectral lines indicating an extremely high expansion velocity.
