Lankaran
Lankaran (, ) or Lánkon () is a city in Azerbaijan, on the coast of the Caspian Sea, near the southern border with Iran. As of 2021, the city had a population of 89,300. It is next to, but independent of, Lankaran District. The city forms a distinct first-order division of Azerbaijan. Etymology The origin of the name "Lankaran" is uncertain. One theory consider it to derive from one of the Persian language, Persian words, ''Langarkunān'' ("the place for dropping the anchor(s)") or ''Langarkanān'' ("the place for weighing anchor(s)"). The pronunciation shifted through the years, and ''Langarkunān'' became ''Lankarān'' or, in the even more simple Talysh language, Talysh pronunciation, ''Lankon''. The other theory links it to the Talysh word ''lankran'' ("cane house"). History It is unknown when the town of Lankaran was actually established. The French archaeologist Jacques de Morgan (died 1924) discovered extremely ancient remai ...

2004 Births
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign.
