2023–24 Azerbaijan Cup
The 2023–24 Azerbaijan Cup was the 32nd season of the annual cup competition in Azerbaijan. The winners qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. Qarabağ won the cup (their eighth Azerbaijan Cup win) on 2 June 2024, defeating Zira 2 – 1 in the final. Since they qualified based on league position, the Europa League spot was passed to the second-placed team of the 2023–24 Azerbaijan Premier League. Gabala SC (, ), also spelled Qabala, is an Azerbaijani professional football club based in Qabala, which have competed in the Azerbaijan Premier League since 2006. They will be set to play in Azerbaijan Premier League from 2025–26 season following their promotion from the Azerbaijan First Division in 2024–25. Elvin Yunuszade (; born 22 August 1992) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a defender, most recently for Gabala in the Azerbaijan First League. Shamkir Football Club () is an Azerbaijani football club based in Şəmkir, that currently plays in the Azerbaijan First Division. The club is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Azerbaijan's football history with two Azerbaijan Premier League titles. Shafa Baku FK (), was an Azerbaijani football club from Baku. They were founded in 1998, and were promoted to the Top League the same year. In 2001 the club won the Azerbaijan Cup, beating Neftchi Baku 2–1 in the final. During the 2001–02 season they played their home games in Buzovna and finished in second place during the regular season. However, they finished bottom of the "Championship ground" round. Shaki, Azerbaijan
