Churchill Braz Alemao (born 16 May 1949) is an Indian politician who served as the 2nd Chief Minister of Goa from March to April 1990. He is a former two-term Member of Parliament, representing South Goa from 1996 to 1998 and 2004 to 2007. 2014 Indian General Elections
General elections were held in India in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014 to elect the members of the 16th Lok Sabha. With 834 million registered voters, they were the largest-ever elections in the world until being surpassed by the 2019 election. Around 23.1 million or 2.71% of the total eligible voters were aged 18–19 years. A total of 8,251 candidates contested the 543 elected Lok Sabha seats. Ferdino Rebello (born 31 August 1949), is an Indian jurist and politician. He is a former Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, former judge of the Bombay High Court, and a former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Goa, Daman and Diu. Education Rebello completed his LL.B. from the Government Law College, Mumbai and thereafter practiced in the High Court of Bombay at Goa. He also was a lecturer in law at the Salgaonkar Law College from 1975 to 1977.
