Naperville Community Television (NCTV17) is a public-access cable television station, in Naperville, Illinois, United States, producing original content focused on community interests in the subject areas of local news, sports, and events. In addition to broadcasting on traditional cable television outlets, Channel 17 on Comcast and Astound, and Channel 99 on AT&T, all programming is available without a paywall via simulcast or by video-on-demand through the station’s website. The station also publishes local news through three different email newsletters: NCTV17 News Update, covering top local stories on weekdays; NCTV17 Guide, a monthly newsletter; and Football Friday, providing video recap of game highlights of six local high school teams. Naperville ( ) is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, DuPage and Will County, Illinois, Will counties in the U.S. state of Illinois. Benet Academy
Benet Academy ( ) is a private, highly competitive, co-educational, college-preparatory, Benedictine high school in Lisle, Illinois, United States, overseen by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet in Illinois, Diocese of Joliet. Founded in 1886, the school was initially established in Chicago as the all-boys St. Procopius College and Academy by Benedictine monks, who also operated the St. Joseph Bohemian Orphanage. In 1898, the orphanage moved to Lisle, about west of Chicago, to be joined by St. Procopius three years later. In 1926, Benedictine nuns constructed the all-girls Sacred Heart Academy near the orphanage and school in Lisle. The orphanage closed in 1956 to make room for St. Procopius Academy, which separated from the college in 1969. Naperville Central High School (Naperville Central or NCHS) is a four-year state school, public high school located in Naperville, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. The school, which enrolls students in grades nine through twelve, is a part of the Naperville Community Unit School District 203. Naperville North High School is a public four-year high school located at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Mill Street in the northern-central part of Naperville, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It’s a part of Naperville Community Unit School District 203. Naperville North is fully recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education and is a member of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling. Neuqua Valley High School (NVHS) is a public four-year high school located near the corner of Illinois Route 59 and 95th Street in Naperville, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. Neuqua Valley is the counterpart to Waubonsie Valley High School and Metea Valley High School, in Indian Prairie School District 204. Classrooms can be rented for other district approved teachers to use after school. History The campus consists of two locations. The Birkett Freshman Center building houses freshmen. Metea Valley High School is a high school in Aurora, Illinois that opened in August 2009 in DuPage County, Illinois, DuPage County. The school is one of four high schools operated by the Indian Prairie School District 204, Indian Prairie School District. Waubonsie Valley High School is also in Aurora, while Neuqua Valley High School and Wheatland Academy are in Naperville, Illinois, Naperville. Waubonsie Valley High School (WVHS) is a public four-year high school in Aurora, Illinois, United States. It was established in 1975; it is one of 3 high schools in Indian Prairie School District 204, along with Neuqua Valley High School and Metea Valley High School. History Indian Prairie Community Unit School District #204 (a unit district K-12) was formed in the fall of 1972. In December 1972, a referendum was passed to build and equip a high school at a projected cost of $8.2 million. A separate issue also passed to add a swimming pool.
