Nadia Al-Kokabany
Nadia Al-Kokabany is a Yemeni novelist, short story writer and academic. She was born in Taiz and studied architecture at Sanaa University. She completed a PhD in architecture at Cairo University in 2008, before returning to take up an academic position at Sanaa University. Her first published literary work was a short story in the journal ''al-Thawra (Yemen), al-Thawra''. Since then, she has published a number of short story collections, starting with ''Zaferat Al-Yasmeen'' (Jasmine Sigh) in 2001. Her first novel was titled ''Hubb laysa illà'' (Not More than Love) and was published in 2006. It was followed in 2009 by ''Aqeelat'', a story about the lives of 19 Yemeni women. Also in 2009, she formed a literary group called ''Meeting Yesterday'' with fellow Yemeni authors Ali al-Moqri, Samir Abdul-Fatah and Wajdi al-Ahdal. Nadiya Olizarenko
Nadezhda Fyodorovna Olizarenko (Russian: Надежда Фёдоровна Олизаренко, Ukrainian: Надія Федорівна Олізаренко; née Mushta; 28 November 1953 – 18 February 2017) was a Soviet middle-distance runner. At the 1980 Olympics she won the 800 m event, setting a world record at 1:53.43, and finished third in the 1500 m. Her 800 m world record was improved in 1983, but still remains the second-best time over that distance. Other than world record holder Jarmila Kratochvílová in 1983, only two athletes, Pamela Jelimo of Kenya, in 2008, and Caster Semenya of South Africa, in 2018, have come within a second of Olizarenko's mark since it was set. Nadiia Mykolaiivna Nikitenko (; born 2 December 1944) is a Ukrainian historian, culturalist, museologist, doctor of historical sciences (2003), researcher of Saint Sophia Cathedral, professor (2005), and Merited Culture Worker of Ukraine (2009). Nadiya Kudelia ( Ukrainian: Куделя Надія Павлівна; 15 October 1936 – 15 September 2022) was a Ukrainian singer, coloratura soprano, Merited Artist of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine (2021). Biography She received her education at the Kyiv Conservatory in the class of Maria Donets-Tessier. As a student, she won the World Youth Festival in Vienna (1959).
