NX (New York City Subway Service)
The N Broadway Express is a rapid transit service in the B Division of the New York City Subway. Its route emblem, or "bullet," is colored , since it uses the BMT Broadway Line in Manhattan. The N operates 24 hours daily between Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, Queens, and Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn; limited rush hour service originates and terminates at 96th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan instead of Ditmars Boulevard. Weekday daytime service makes all stops in Queens and express stops in Manhattan, and in Brooklyn (between Atlantic Avenue and 59th Street), bypasses DeKalb Avenue and operates via the Manhattan Bridge, bypassing the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Astoria–Ditmars Boulevard Station
The Astoria–Ditmars Boulevard station (originally the Ditmars Avenue station; also Ditmars Boulevard station), is the northern terminal station on the BMT Astoria Line of the New York City Subway. Located above 31st Street between 23rd Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, Queens, it is served by the N (New York City Subway service), N train at all times and the W (New York City Subway service), W train on weekdays. The Astoria–Ditmars Boulevard station opened on February 1, 1917, as part of the initial segment of the IRT Astoria Line. BMT Nassau Street Line
The BMT Nassau Street Line is a rapid transit line of the B Division of the New York City Subway system in Manhattan. At its northern end, the line is a westward continuation of the BMT Jamaica Line in Brooklyn after the Jamaica Line crosses the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan. The Nassau Street Line continues south to a junction with the BMT Broadway Line just before the Montague Street Tunnel, after which the line reenters Brooklyn. Although the tracks merge into the Broadway Line south of Broad Street, there has been no regular service south of the Broad Street station since June 25, 2010.
