The National Premier Leagues South Australia, officially abbreviated to NPL SA and known for sponsorship reasons as the RAA National Premier League, is a semi-professional men's soccer league in the Australian state of South Australia. The league is one of eight that comprises the National Premier Leagues, the second tier of Australian soccer. The league was founded in 2012 as a successor to the Super League, and is managed by Football South Australia. Seasons start in late February, and conclude in early September with a Grand Final, which since 2022, has been held at ServiceFM Stadium. The team was initially contested by 14 teams, and was reduced to 12 teams ahead of the 2016 season. The FFSA Super League was the highest state-level soccer competition in South Australia between 2006 and 2012. Prior to the 2006 season, the highest level competition in South Australia was the SASF Premier League. Oakden, South Australia
Oakden is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located to the northeast of the Central Business District. It was established as a housing estate named ''Regent Gardens'' in 1992 and is located on former Department of Agriculture land. State League South Australia is a series of soccer leagues based in South Australia which consists of two divisions; SA State League 1 (SL1) and SA State League 2 (SL2). It runs as the second and third tiers of soccer in South Australia ( third and fourth in Australia). It is conducted by Football South Australia, the state's governing body.
