NOS Audiovisuais (formerly ZON Lusomundo) is a Portuguese integrated media corporation founded in 1953, which has major interests in movie distribution, cinema theaters and media assets. It was founded with the purpose of movie distribution, and had a very close relation with the biggest studios (it is currently the Portuguese licensee of United International Pictures, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, Warner Home Video, Miramax Films and DreamWorks SKG). TVCine is a Portugal, Portuguese premium television brand used on four movie channels, operated by NOS (Portuguese media company), NOS. They showcase recent movies and premieres from all the major studios, as well as comedy, action, classic and old movies. History TVCine originally began life as a Portuguese version of the Brazilian premium channels Rede Telecine, Telecine in 1998, only consisting of two channels at the time.
