It aims to provide library and information services to the health science professionals in India. It functions under the administrative control of the Directorate General of Health Services. National Metallurgical Laboratory is an Indian research center based in Jamshedpur that functions under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) is part of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the agency of the Government of Canada that is responsible for public health, health emergency preparedness and response, and infectious and chronic disease control and prevention. NML is located in several sites across the country including the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health (CSCHAH) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. NML has a second site in Winnipeg, the JC Wilt Infectious Disease Research Centre on Logan Avenue which serves as a hub for HIV research and diagnostics in Canada. The National Music League (NML) was an American arts organization based in New York City that was active during the 1920s through the 1960s. Founded as a non-profit institution in June 1925, the organization was dedicated to supporting and furthering the careers of talented young American classical musicians. While its goals remained the same, the organization became a for-profit incorporated institution in 1938. Robert E. Simon served as the organizations president for many years and Léon Barzin served as vice president. The organization ceased operations in the early 1960s.
