NBC Kids
NBC Kids was an American Saturday morning children's television programming block that aired on NBC from July 7, 2012 to September 25, 2016. Telemundo also aired a version of the block under the "MiTelemundo" title, which featured a separate lineup of Spanish-dubbed programs until December 31, 2017. NBC Kids, which replaced the Qubo block (as a result of NBCUniversal dropping out of the joint venture, which also included Ion Media Networks), was programmed by the other Sprout preschool cable network, as they were both targeted at children ages 2 to 6. The three-hour block featured educational entertainment series for younger children, which met programming requirements defined by the Federal Communications Commission's Children's Television Act. The block came to an end on September 25, 2016 on NBC (December 31, 2017 on Telemundo), and was replaced the following week with a live-action E/I block from Litton Entertainment titled The More You Know, marking the end of tradition ... KidsClick was a daily children's programming block distributed by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which premiered on July 1, 2017. The block, which primarily consisted of long-form animated series as well as some short-form content, was carried in the U.S. on terrestrial television network TBD, and on Sinclair-owned/operated television stations in several markets. At launch, the block was available in 75 million households. The block marked the return of traditional weekday cartoons and Saturday morning cartoons to terrestrial television, as well as the first children's programming block on U.S. free-to-air television not to comply with Children's Television Act regulations since the Saban Brands-produced Vortexx was discontinued on September 27, 2014. ''Jim Henson's Pajanimals'' (a portmanteau of the words ''pajamas'' and ''animals'') is a children's television series created by Jeff Muncy and Alex Rockwell. The Pajanimals are characters that were made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop at The Jim Henson Company. The series was filmed in Northern Ireland. It aired on PBS Kids Sprout (now Universal Kids) in the United States, and Sprout was a co-producer of the series. ''Noodle and Doodle'' is an American live action children's television series, which premiered on May 24, 2010, and ended on March 9, 2013. The series was created by John McCoy, produced and directed by Kristopher Updike. The series was the first long form television series on Sprout ( Universal Kids).
