The N7 road is one of the 7 Roads in Senegal, national roads of Senegal. It connects Ouro Sogui in the north-east of Senegal to Kédougou in the south-east by a route which crosses the Niokolo-Koba National Park. The road runs in a southerly direction from Ouro Sogui to Tambacounda where it crosses the N1 road (Senegal), N1 road before heading south-east, via the Niokolo-Koba National Park, to Kédougou on the borders of Mali and Guinea. Ouro Sogui or Ourossogui lies in Matam Region in eastern Senegal on the N2 and N3 roads, just south west of Matam on the River Senegal. Kédougou
Kédougou ( Wolof: Keédugu) is a town in the Kédougou Region of south-eastern Senegal near the border with Mali and Guinea. It lies at an elevation of above sea level. Founded by the Malinké people, Kédougou means the "Land of Man". The town lies on the N7 road and the River Gambia amid the Pays Bassari hills and Fouta Djallon foothills. Local attractions include the Dindefelo Falls and Niokolo-Koba National Park. The main sources of income in the town are agriculture, small-scale commerce, construction, and gold mining. There is a military camp, a hospital, a community radio station and library, a Peace Corps Office and a number of small businesses. Niokolo-Koba
The Niokolo-Koba National Park (, PNNK) is a World Heritage Site and natural protected area in southeastern Senegal, near the Guinea border. It is served by Niokolo-Koba Airport, an unpaved airstrip. National park Established as a reserve in 1925, Niokolo-Koba was declared a Senegalese national park on 1 January 1954. Expanded in 1969, it was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1981 as a UNESCO-MAB Biosphere Reserve. In 2007, it was added to the UNESCO List of Endangered World Heritage sites. It was removed from the list in 2024, following improvements in the park's state of conservation. Since 2005, the protected area is considered a Lion Conservation Unit. Tambacounda (; Wolof: Tambaakundaa ) is the largest city in eastern Senegal, southeast of Dakar, and is the regional capital of the province of the same name. Its population in 2023 was 149,071. The N4 road is one of the 7 national roads in Senegal. It connects central-Senegal with Basse Casamance by a route which crosses The Gambia. The road runs in a southerly direction from Diourbel to Kaolack where it crosses the Saloum River before heading to Bounkiling in Casamance via The Gambia and swinging south-westward to follow the northern bank of the Casamance River to Bignona. Turning southwards the road crosses the Casamance River to end in Ziguinchor. The route is 337 km long including the 25 km transit route in The Gambia.
