Mörsil
Mörsil () is a urban areas of Sweden, locality situated in Åre Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden with 851 inhabitants in 2022. History Mörsil parish district has been inhabited since the Stone Age. Several trapping pits, Sconces, and a copper hammer have been found. During the Kalmar War between Denmark-Norway and Sweden, Sweden sent armies into Jämtland and established forts in several towns to stop advancing Norwegian/Danish armies. Among those towns to house forts were Mörsil, Frösön and Järpen. Sweden's first sanatorium was opened in Mörsil in 1891. It was established in German fashion and consisted of several buildings including a main building, a bath house, and a physician's house. The sanatorium treated tuberculosis and part of its treatment regime involved taking walks through the surrounding mountains. Mörsils IF
Mörsils IF is an active sports club located in Mörsil in Åre Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden. Boström is a famous Mörsil family. Background Mörsils Idrottsförening has sections covering football, bandy, table tennis, skiing and also has sections and activities for gymnastics, tennis, badminton, skating activities and a Sports School for 6 to 15 year olds. The Sports Hall was built by Mörsil IF in 1987 and can accommodate most indoor sports. There is also an outdoor ice rink and a small swimming pool. Mörsils IF currently plays in Swedish football Division 4, Division 4 Jämtland/Härjedalen which is the sixth tier of Swedish football league system, Swedish football. Åre Municipality
Åre Municipality (, ) is a municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Its administrative centre, seat is located in Järpen. The present municipality was formed in 1974 through the amalgamation of "old" Åre Municipality with the surrounding municipalities Hallen, Kall, Mörsil and Undersåker. Nidaros Cathedral () is a Church of Norway cathedral located in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county. Storlien
Storlien ��ˈstuːrˌliːənis a village and ski resort located in Åre municipality in Jämtland, Sweden, two kilometres from the Swedish-Norwegian border. The primary bases of the settlement are tourism and outdoor life – alpine skiing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing and hiking.
