Muya Language
Munya or Muya ( zh, s=木雅; also ''Manyak'' , ''Menia'' 么呢阿) is one of the Qiangic languages spoken in China. There are two dialects, Northern and Southern, which are not mutually intelligible. Most research on Munya has been conducted by Ikeda Takumi. There are about 2,000 monolinguals. Names The language has been spelled in various ways, including ''Manyak, Menya, Minyag, Minyak''. Other names for the language are ''Boba'' and ''Miyao''. Dialects ''Ethnologue'' (21st edition) lists two Muya dialects, namely Eastern (Nyagrong) and Western (Darmdo). Muya Station
is a passenger railway station located in the city of Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Shikoku and has the station number "N09". Lines Muya Station is served by the JR Shikoku Naruto Line and is located 7.2 km from the beginning of the line at . Only local services stop at the station. The Muya (russian: Муя) is a left tributary of the Vitim in Buryatia, Russia. It is long, and has a drainage basin of . The area through which the river flows is sparsely populated, the only settlement on the river being Taksimo, with the small village of Ust-Muya located where the river flows into the Vitim. The Northern Muya Range (russian: Се́веро-Му́йский хребе́т, translit=Severo-Muyskiy khrebet) is a mountain range in Buryatia, Russia, part of the Stanovoy Highlands. Geography The Northern Muya Range stretches from the valley of the Svetlaya river, a left tributary of the Upper Angara, in the southwest, to the valley of the Vitim in the northeast. The Upper Angara Depression lies to the northwest and the Muya-Kuanda Depression to the southeast. The Southern Muya Range (russian: Южно-Муйский хребе́т, translit=Yuzhno-Muyskiy khrebet) is a mountain range in Buryatia and Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia, part of the Stanovoy Highlands. The highest point of the range is 3,067 m high Muisky Gigant; another important peak is 2363 m high Mount Shaman. Guy Muya (born 23 May 1983) is a Belgian-Congolese retired basketball player and current coach. He was the captain of the Belgian national basketball team and represented the team at two EuroBasket tournaments, in 2011 and 2013. Guy Kabeya Muya (born 1970) is a filmmaker from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was co-director with Monique Mbeka Phoba of the 2007 documentary ''Entre la coupe et l'élection'' (Between the cup and the election). Birth and education Guy Kabeya Muya was born in Kinshasa in 1970. In 1988 he entered the National Institute of Performance Arts (INAS) in Kinshasa, graduating with a degree in drama in 1996. He also took courses in Mbalmayo, Cameroon on audiovisual techniques and in Douala, Cameroon on animation and visual communication.
