The Music Managers Forum (MMF) is the world's largest professional membership organisation representing music managers. At present, the MMF membership stands at over 950 managers based in the UK with global businesses and a wider network of 2700 managers in the USA. History and governance Founded in 1992 at the In the City conference in Manchester, England, and formally incorporated in January 1993 as The Managers Forum Ltd. The co-chairs at the time, Diane Wagg and Stephen Budd, appointed Annabella Coldrick as CEO in January 2016. Music Managers Forum appoints new CEO. Following a change in governance, in July 2017 a round of board elections was held. Designed to increase diversity and inclusivity, the new rules mean the board must rotate annually. Kwame Kwaten
Kwame Amankwa Kwaten (born 13 May 1967) is a British manager, music consultant, musician and record producer. He owns an artist management and consultancy company called Ferocious Talent and is a co-founder of Cr8ing Vision, a non-profit company that offers young people a range of educational programmes, seminars, workshops and opportunities in both the music and sport industries. Past and present artists managed by Kwaten include Laura Mvula, The Night VI, Steve Brown, Shannon Saunders and Kerry Leatham. In 1989, Kwaten was part of a band, D-Influence, who were opening acts for Michael Jackson, and produced tracks for a number of prominent musicians including Shola Ama, Jay-Z and Mick Jagger. Damon Albarn (, ; born 23 March 1968) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. UK Music is a British umbrella organisation which represents the collective interests of the production side of UK's commercial music industry: artists, musicians, songwriters, composers, record labels, artist managers, music publishers, studio producers and music collecting societies. The Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) is a Nonprofit organization, nonprofit organisation set up to protect the rights of featured musical artists, particularly in the new digital age.
