Multiverse Music
Multiverse Music is a British music publisher directed by James Ginzburg that was founded in 2004 to showcase the work of contemporary electronic artists involved with and operating from their Bristol based studio. Currently Multiverse's output revolves around work produced by Paul Jebanasam, Roly Porter and Emptyset. Projects have included scores for feature films such as Roly Porter's original score for "In Fear", installations such as emptyset's Tate Britain commissioned "Trawsfynydd", and the modern classical output of the Multiverse record label "Subtext" such as Paul Jebanasam's 2013 LP "Rites". Emptyset
Emptyset is a Bristol-based production project, formed in 2005 by James Ginzburg and Paul Purgas. Ginzburg and Purgas say that by working across performance, installation and the moving image they are examining the physical properties of sound, the legacy of analogue media reflecting upon structural/materialist art production and the perceptual boundaries between noise and music. Emptyset has produced installations for Tate Britain and the Architecture Foundation in London, and presented live performances at Arnolfini, Spike Island Artspace, Kunsthalle Zürich, Sonic Acts XIV and Club transmediale (CTM) festival. Pinch (dubstep Musician)
Rob Ellis, better known as Pinch, is a British dubstep artist from Bristol, England, noted for his fusion of styles such as reggae, World music, and dancehall with dubstep. He released his first album, ''Underwater Dancehall'' in 2007, on Tectonic, which he founded. One of Pinch's most well-known tracks is "Qawwali", released on Planet Mu records, which references the devotional singing of the same name, and featured samples of harmonium and singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Dave Huismans (born 1979), better known by his stage name 2562, is a musician from The Hague, Netherlands. Huismans bought his first laptop dedicated for music production in 2003 despite not knowing how to read musical notation. Skream
Oliver Dene Jones (born 1 June 1986), known as Skream, is an English electronic music producer based in Croydon. Skream was an early and influential exponent of the dubstep genre. After producing several singles, he released his first full-length album, ''Skream!'', in 2006. Skream and longtime collaborators Artwork and Benga co-founded a music group called Magnetic Man. Their debut album, '' Magnetic Man'' was released in 2010. In July 2011, Jones had his first child, a son. Jones is the brother of jungle DJ Hijak. Liam McLean (born 30 January 1989), better known by his stage name Joker, is a British record producer who creates music in genres such as dubstep and grime and was known for creating the subgenre "purple sound".
