Multiplikatsionniy Krokodil
''Animated Crocodile'' ( rus, Мультипликационный Крокодил, Multiplikatsionniy Krokodil), abbreviated as ''MuK'', was a Soviet satirical animated series for adults. It was produced by Soyuzmultfilm and directed by various people. Between 1960 and 1961 6 issues have been released (3 per year). Each episode consisted of several short unrelated stories, except the 4th episode ''Out into the Open'' which had a single plot devoted to the topic of water pollution. Soyuzmultfilm ( rus, Союзмультфи́льм, p=səˌjʉsmʊlʲtˈfʲilʲm , ''Union Cartoon'') (also known as SMF Animation Studio in English, Formerly known as Soyuzdetmultfilm) is a Russian animation studio based in Moscow. Water pollution (or aquatic pollution) is the contamination of water bodies, usually as a result of human activities, so that it negatively affects its uses. Georgy Mikhailovich Vitsin (russian: Георгий Михайлович Вицин; 18 April 1917 – 22 October 2001) was a Soviet and Russian actor. People's Artist of the USSR (1990). Sergey Alexandrovich Martinson (russian: Серге́й Александрович Мартинсон; – 2 September 1984) was a Russian eccentric comic actor, the master of pantomime, buffoonery and grotesque. ''Fitil'' ( rus, Фитиль, p=fʲɪˈtʲilʲ, ''Fuse'') is a popular Soviet short film and television anthology series which ran for 608 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called , ''Little Fuse''. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Fitilyok eventually became an entirely separate show for children and was renamed Yeralash, (Russian: Ералаш) meaning "jumble" or "mishmash." It was directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov to the cast.
