''Movie Lounge'' is a movie and DVD review television show, presented by newspaper columnist and food critic Giles Coren, broadcast in 2006. It was shown on the British terrestrial channel Five. Columnist
A columnist is a person who writes for publication in a series, creating an article that usually offers commentary and opinions. Food Critic
The terms food critic, food writer, and restaurant critic can all be used to describe a writer who analyzes food or restaurants and then publishes the results of their findings. While these terms are not strictly synonymous they are often used interchangeably, at least in some circumstances. Those who share their opinions via food columns in newspapers and magazines are known as food columnists. They are often experts in the field. Giles Coren
Giles Robin Patrick Coren (born 29 July 1969) is a British columnist, food writer, and television and radio presenter. He has been a restaurant critic for ''The Times'' newspaper since 2002, and was named Food and Drink Writer of the Year at the British Press Awards in 2005. Coren has been involved in a number of controversies, including breaching a privacy injunction and expressing pleasure at the death of another writer. Channel 5 is a British free-to-air public service broadcasting in the United Kingdom, public broadcast television channel launched in 1997.
