Mouhammadou Jaiteh
Mouhammadou Einstein Jaiteh (born 27 November 1994), commonly known as Mam Jaiteh, is a French professional basketball player for AS Monaco of the French LNB Élite and the EuroLeague. He is of Senegalese and Gambian descent. Early life and career In his youth, Jaiteh originally played soccer with friends, before beginning his basketball career at 13. After playing for INSEP for a few years, Jaiteh would participate at the 2010 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship, and then the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championships in 2011 and 2012. The 2012 championship had Jaiteh leading all competitors in rebounds per game. Professional career After being recruited by the Connecticut Huskies, Washington Huskies, Gonzaga Bulldogs, and Virginia Tech Hokies, Jaiteh decided to sign a two-year contract to play with the Stade Olympique Maritime Boulonnais of the LNB Pro B (French 2nd Division), where he would get more playing time. The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the second-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987. The regular season champion and the winner of the promotion playoffs from each Pro B season are promoted to the top-tier level LNB Pro A, replaced by the bottom two teams in Pro A. The 2023–24 LNB Élite season, known as Betclic Élite due to sponsorship from online gambling company Betclic, is the 102nd season of the LNB Élite, the top basketball league in France organised by the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB). The regular season began on 16 September 2023 and ended on 11 May 2024. Via promotion and relegation with LNB Pro B, Saint-Quentin BB and Élan Chalon joined the league, replacing Élan Béarnais and Fos Provence Basket. In the 2023–24 season, clubs ranked 16th, 17th, and 18th will be relegated to LNB Pro B. 2014–15 EuroChallenge
The 2014–15 EuroChallenge was the 12th and last edition of Europe's third-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs. The winner and the runner-up of this competition earned a place at the group stage of next year's Eurocup season. The regular season was composed by 32 teams and it started on 4 November 2014. The season ended on 26 April 2015, when JSF Nanterre beat Trabzonspor Medical Park 63–64 in the Final in Trabzon, Turkey. It was the last season of the EuroChallenge, starting from the 2015–16 season, the competition was replaced by the FIBA Europe Cup.
