2023–24 LNB Élite Season
The 2023–24 LNB Élite season, known as Betclic Élite due to sponsorship from online gambling company Betclic, is the 102nd season of the LNB Élite, the top basketball league in France organised by the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB). The regular season began on 16 September 2023 and ended on 11 May 2024. Via promotion and relegation with LNB Pro B, Saint-Quentin BB and Élan Chalon joined the league, replacing Élan Béarnais and Fos Provence Basket. In the 2023–24 season, clubs ranked 16th, 17th, and 18th will be relegated to LNB Pro B. Ligue Nationale De Basket
The Ligue nationale de basket (LNB; English: National Basketball League) is the governing body of men's professional club basketball in France. The LNB organises the first-tier Pro A and the second-tier Pro B. Additionally, the federation annually organises the Leaders Cup, Match des Champions and LNB All-Star Game. The LNB was established in 1987 by a committee consisting of high level professional clubs from France. In 1990, the LNB overtook the CCHN as the organizer of the top tier competition in France. Élan Chalon
Élan Sportif Chalonnais, commonly known as Élan Chalon, is a French professional basketball club that is based in Chalon-sur-Saône, France. The team's main colors are red and white, and their mascot is a moose. The team's home arena is called Le Colisée, which seats 4,540 spectators. Fontvieille (; ) is the southernmost ward in the Principality of Monaco. Jeunesse Laïque de Bourg-en-Bresse, commonly known as JL Bourg or simply Bourg, is a basketball club based in Bourg-en-Bresse, France that plays in the LNB Élite, the national top division.
