Motorsport Australia Superlicence
The Motorsport Australia Superlicence is a racing license awarded by Motorsport Australia. It is required for all drivers in the Supercars Championship, the highest-profile domestic circuit racing series in Australia. The licence is usually granted on the basis of success in other Australian and New Zealand-based circuit racing series. The existence of the Superlicence, and the eligibility rules, have been controversial and subject to several revisions. As well as affecting drivers' chances at a professional career in the Supercars Championship, the rules also impact category organisers, as it affects the attractiveness of various series to drivers, and therefore the number of entries and ultimately the viability of different race series. GT4 Australia
GT4 Australia (known commercially as Monochrome GT4 Australia for 2024–2025) is a motor racing series for SRO GT4-class grand touring cars. The series is promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group, who are the global owner of the category, and also promote the GT World Challenge Australia for SRO GT3 cars. The first series ran in 2024, after GT4 cars had previously run in the Australian Production Car Championship. In 2024, the series ran as part of the SpeedSeries events promoted by Motorsport Australia. Paul "The Dude" Morris (born 22 December 1967) is an Australian motor racing driver and team owner. The owner of Paul Morris Motorsport, he competes in Queensland sprint car racing and the Stadium Super Trucks, the latter of which includes the series' Australian Boost Mobile Super Trucks championship. The V8 Ute Racing Series, known originally as the V8 BRute Utes was an Australian motor racing series for Coupé utility, utilities, derived from the Australian Production Car Championship. It was conceived in 2000 by Procar Australia, PROCAR chief and owner Ross Palmer, V8 Ute Patron Ian McAlister and Procar employee Craig Denyer and launched March 2001, as V8 Brute Utes, at the Adelaide 500, Clipsal 500 in Adelaide. Matthew Chahda (born 12 September 1993) is an Australian racing car driver. He currently competes in the Dunlop Super2 Series in the No. 18 Holden Commodore ZB. Australian Formula 3
Australian Formula 3 has been the name applied to two distinctly different motor racing categories, separated by over twenty years. The original Australian Formula 3 was introduced in 1964 based on the FIA Formula 3 of the period and intended as a cost-efficient open wheel category to run at state level for amateur racers. It was discontinued at the end of 1977. Formula 3 was reintroduced to Australia in 1999, again based on FIA Formula 3. An Australian Formula 3 Championship was sanctioned by the Motorsport Australia, Confederation of Australian Motor Sport for the first time in 2001. The National Sports Sedans Series, formerly the Australian Sports Sedan Championship, is a Motorsport Australia-sanctioned national motor racing title for drivers of cars complying with Australian Sports Sedan regulations. This class, essentially a silhouette racing car class, permits three types of cars: * Purpose-built steel spaceframe racing cars with bodywork resembling a production car sold in Australia * Cars based on production street car bodies. * Purpose-built race cars constructed for the American Trans-Am Series.
