"Motivation" is a song by American singer Normani. It was released on August 16, 2019, by Keep Cool and RCA. It was written by Normani alongside Ariana Grande, Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, and producer Ilya. It marked the first time Normani released a solo song unaccompanied by another artist. Normani Kordei Hamilton ( ; born May 31, 1996), known mononymously as Normani, is an American singer. She first became known as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.
