Mother (In This Moment Album)
''Mother'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band In This Moment, released on March 27, 2020, by Atlantic Records and Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by Kevin Churko and Kane Churko. Background and recording On October 14, 2018, Chris Howorth posted a photo on his Instagram page stating that the band was working on their seventh album. On November 12, a short video with flickering and revolving text bearing the word "Mother" was uploaded to the band's official Instagram. On February 17, 2019, Maria Brink posted a short video of herself heading to The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas. A few days later, on February 24, Brink posted another video of the band working in the studio. Recording for the album was completed by the spring of 2019. In This Moment
In This Moment is an American Rock music, rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Jesse Landry. Their debut album, ''Beautiful Tragedy'', was released in 2007. Their follow up, titled ''The Dream (In This Moment album), The Dream'' was released the following year debuting at number 73 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200. Ded (band)
Ded (stylized as DED) is an American nu metal band from Tempe, Arizona made up of members from Greeley Estates and Man Made Machine. The band released its debut track "FMFY" in December 2016 with production by John Feldmann. Ded followed up with its first radio single "Anti-Everything" on February 3, 2017 with an exclusive premiere on Sirius XM Octane. History The origins of the ensemble can be traced to Arizona band The Cover Up. Lead vocalist Joe Cotela stated that things with The Cover Up were approaching a standstill, and that they were performing music influenced by Every Time I Die. "Fly Like an Eagle" is a song written by American musician Steve Miller for the album of the same name. The song was released in the United Kingdom in August 1976 and in the United States in December 1976. It went to number two on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 for the week of March 12, 1977. The single edit can be found on '' Greatest Hits (1974–1978)''. It is often played in tandem with "Space Intro". On the album, the song segues into "Wild Mountain Honey". "Into Dust" is a song by American duo Mazzy Star that appears as the ninth track on their second album ''So Tonight That I Might See''. The song's arrangement is sparse and features only acoustic guitar and cello as an accompaniment to the vocals. Although never released as an official single, the song has charted on two occasions on the UK Singles Chart. Mazzy Star is an American alternative rock band formed in 1988 in Santa Monica, California, from remnants of the group Opal (band), Opal. Founding member David Roback's friend Hope Sandoval became the group's vocalist when Kendra Smith left Opal. The band's current lineup consists of Sandoval (lead vocals, guitars, percussion), Colm Ó Cíosóig (guitars, bass, keyboards, drums), Suki Ewers (keyboards), and Josh Yenne (pedal steel guitars, guitars, drums).
