Moise Mbiye
Moise Mbiye is a Congolese gospel singer-songwriter and pastor in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Early life Moise Mbiye was born in Kinshasa in the commune of Matete on 9 September 1980 in Zaire to Emmanuel Mbiye and his wife. He is the fifth of nine children. His father, Emmanuel Mbiye Mulaya, was the founder of the Cité Bethel church, where he became pastor. He died on 30 August 2021. Musical career At age 10, Mbiye joined a singing group called "Groupe d’adoration Junior". Throughout early adolescence, he continued exploring music, eventually learning piano and guitar at 13. At age 17, Mbiye joined the group ''Les Étoiles de Louange'' (French: The Stars of Praise) as a singer and keyboardist. Matete
Matete is one of the 24 communes that are the administrative divisions of Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Location Matete is located south of Boulevard Lumumba () from the Matete River, just east of the Limete Tower interchange, to the Ndjili River further east. The two rivers are the western and eastern boundaries of the commune. In the west the commune extends south to the level of Rue Frontière and in the east down to the level of Mbamba Kilenda street. Matete's neighboring communes going clockwise from the south are: Kisenso, Lemba, Limete, and Ndjili. Gospel music is a traditional genre of Christian music, and a cornerstone of Christian media. Lingala
Lingala (Ngala) (Lingala: ''Lingála'') is a Bantu language spoken in the northwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the northern half of the Republic of the Congo, in their capitals, Kinshasa and Brazzaville, and to a lesser degree in Angola, the Central African Republic and southern South Sudan. Mike Kalambay
Mike Kalambay (born April 21, 1980) is a Congolese gospel singer-songwriter whose origin is from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mike Kalambay also founded ''Mike Kalambay & Shekina Music''. Early life Mike Kalambay was born in Kinshasa. His parents are Joseph Kabamuanishi and Monique Ngola. He spent his childhood in Mbuji-Mayi. He has four siblings. Career In 1994, Mike was baptized at the Cité Béthel Church of the Apostle Emmanuel Mbiye, Moise Mbiye's father at the age of 16.
