Moi Avei
Moi Avei KBE (born 24 October 1946) is a Papua New Guinean politician. He was a member of the National Parliament of Papua New Guinea from 1992 to 2007, representing the Kairuku-Hiri electorate. He was Deputy Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea from 2004 to 2006 under Michael Somare. Avei was born in Boera village in Kairuku-Hiri District, and was educated at Ipswich Grammar School and the University of Queensland in Australia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work. He was variously PNG's Director of Child Welfare, a political advisor (at various times to Michael Somare, Akoka Doi, and the opposition as a whole), a businessman and a consultant before entering politics. Aside from his stint as Deputy Prime Minister, Avei also served in a number of ministerial portfolios, including Higher Education, Science and Technology, National Planning, Bougainville Affairs and Petroleum and Energy. Moisés 'Moi' Gómez Bordonado (born 23 June 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for La Liga club CA Osasuna. Club career Born in Rojales, Alicante, Valencian Community, Gómez began his career with local Alicante CF, finishing his youth career with neighbours Villarreal CF. Moisès "Moi" Torrallardona (born on 13 September 1966 at Castellfollit del Boix, Manresa) is a Spanish off-road rally truck co-driver and navigator. It took part in the Camel Trophy 1990, celebrated in Siberia, USSR, where he finished on 4th position with the Spanish team. Career Torrallardona has participated on several editions of the Dakar Rally, most of them accompanying the truck driver Pep Vila, achieving his best result in the 2009 Dakar Rally, when they finished on the 7th position in the trucks general classification. In 2010, since Vila decided not to participate in the Dakar, Torrallardona took the start in the rally on a new team, driving an Iveco truck of Gérard de Rooy, who did not compete because of an injury, together with the French pilot Joseph Adua and the Polish mechanic Darek Rodewald. Moshé Raviv-Vorobeichic, known as Moi Ver, born Moses Vorobeichic (1904–1995) was an Israeli photographer and painter. Life and work Moi Ver (Moshe Raviv) was born in 1904 in Vilnius, Lithuania as Moses Vorobeichic. He initially studied painting. In his early twenties he matriculated at the Bauhaus, taking courses with Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, and Josef Albers, and left from there to attend the Ecole Photo One in Paris. In his book ''Moi Ver: Paris'', he produced avant-garde photomontages. Originally published in 1931 by Editions Jeanne Walter with an introduction by futurist Fernand Léger. In 1932 Raviv was sent by the weekly '' La Vie Parisienne'' to Palestine as photo-reporter. Raviv illustrated many books. Raviv was a founder of the Artists' Colony in Safed. Daniel Arap Moi
Daniel Toroitich arap Moi ( ; 2 September 1924 – 4 February 2020) was a Kenyan politician who served as the second president of Kenya from 1978 to 2002. He was the country's longest-serving president. Moi previously served as the third vice president of Kenya from 1967 to 1978 under President Jomo Kenyatta, becoming president following the latter's death. Born into the Tugen sub-group of the Kalenjin people in the Kenyan Rift Valley, Moi studied as a boy at the Africa Inland Mission school before training as a teacher at the Tambach teachers training college, working in that profession until 1955. Gideon Kipsielei Towett Moi (born 22 October 1963) is a Kenyan politician and former senator of Baringo County, from 2013 to 2022. He was elected with a landslide win of over 80%, trouncing his opponent Jackson Kosgei. Joey Moi is a Canadian record producer, audio engineer, mixer, songwriter, and musician. He is known for his work with the rock groups Nickelback and My Darkest Days, and country music acts Chris Lane, Dallas Smith, Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen and Morgan Wallen. Toril Moi (born 28 November 1953 in Farsund, Norway) is James B. Duke Professor of Literature and Romance Studies and Professor of English, Philosophy and Theatre Studies at Duke University. Moi is also the Director of the Center for Philosophy, Arts, and Literature at Duke. As an undergraduate, she attended University of Bergen, where she studied in the Literature Department.
