Mohannad Abu Taha
Mohannad Mahmoud Saleh Abu Taha (; born 2 February 2003) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a winger for Iraq Stars League club Al-Karkh, and the Jordan national team. Club career Al-Wehdat Born in Amman, Abu Taha is a youth product of Al-Wehdat. He was promoted to the first team in 2021 at the age of 18. In January 2023, Abu Taha nearly joined the reserves team of Belgian Pro League side Gent on a 6-month loan deal with option to buy, but the deal was not completed because the transfer window closed before the player registered. He had played an important role in the 2023–24 Jordan FA Cup, where he had scored one of the goals in the final against Al-Hussein. With his contract running out towards the end of the 2023–24 season, Abu Taha had refused a contract extension from Al-Wehdat, as he desired to play professionally abroad. 2023–24 Jordanian Pro League
The 2023–24 Jordanian Pro League, known as The Jordanian Pro League, was the 71st season of Jordanian Pro League since its inception in 1944. The season started on 3 August 2023 and finished on 25 May 2024. Al-Hussein were crowned champions for the first time in their history. Al-Faisaly are the defending champions of the 2022 season. Al Ahli and Al-Jalil joined as the promoted clubs from the 2022 Jordanian First Division League. They replaced Al-Jazeera and Al-Sareeh who were relegated to the 2023 Jordanian First Division League. 2021 WAFF U-23 Championship
The 2021 WAFF U-23 Championship was the second edition of the WAFF U-23 Championship, an under-23 international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It took place in Saudi Arabia from 4 to 12 October 2021, featuring 11 teams. Only players born on or after 1 January 1998 were eligible to participate. Iran were the defending champions; however, they couldn't defend the title after they joined CAFA. Jordan won their first tournament, beating hosts Saudi Arabia 3–1 in the final.
