2023–24 Jordanian Pro League
The 2023–24 Jordanian Pro League, known as The Jordanian Pro League, was the 71st season of Jordanian Pro League since its inception in 1944. The season started on 3 August 2023 and finished on 25 May 2024. Al-Hussein were crowned champions for the first time in their history. Al-Faisaly are the defending champions of the 2022 season. Al Ahli and Al-Jalil joined as the promoted clubs from the 2022 Jordanian First Division League. They replaced Al-Jazeera and Al-Sareeh who were relegated to the 2023 Jordanian First Division League. Teams Twelve teams will compete in the league – the top ten teams from the 2022 season and the two teams promoted from the 2022 Division 1. The first team to be promoted was Al Ahli, following their 1–1 draw against Al-Karmel on 10 October 2022. Jordanian Pro League
The Jordanian Pro League () is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league was not held in the years: 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in 1998. In 2002, the league changed calendar to a fall spring season, and in 2020 the league returned to a spring fall season. From the 2023-24 season, the Jordan Football Association, JFA decided to return to the fall spring calendar to match the date of the league with the Asian championships. Al-Karmel Sports Club () is a Jordanian football club which is based in Husn Camp, Al-Husn Camp, near the city of Irbid. The football club currently competes in the Jordanian Second Division League, the third tier of Football in Jordan, Jordanian football. It hosts a football club, as well as a volleyball club. Irbid (), known in ancient times as Arabella or Arbela (Άρβηλα in Ancient Greek language, Ancient Greek), is the capital and largest city of Irbid Governorate. Amman International Stadium
The Amman International Stadium () is a stadium in Al-Hussein City, Amman, Jordan. It was built in 1964 and opened in 1968. It is owned by the Government of Jordan and operated by the Higher Council of Youth. It is also the home stadium of the Jordan national football team and Al-Faisaly SC. It has a current capacity of 17,619 spectators.
