Mohammed Ali Abbood
Mohammed Ali Abbood Suwaed (; born 1 October 2000) is an Iraqi footballer who plays as a midfielder for Iraqi Premier League club Zakho and the Iraqi national team. Club career Al-Sinaat Al-Kahrabaiya Mohammed joined Iraqi Premier League club Al-Sinaat Al-Kahrabaiya in September 2017 from Iraqi First Division League side Al-Najda. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya In September 2018, Abbood signed for Iraqi club Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. He started the 2018 AFC Cup Final as Jawiya won the tournament for the third successive year. Ali Abbood made his AFC Champions League debut on 12 February 2019, against Uzbek side Pakhtakor. International career Youth Mohammed's first international call up came in 2015 with the Iraq U16s for the 2016 AFC U-16 Championship qualifiers. Pakhtakor Football Club () is an Uzbek professional football club, based in the capital city of Tashkent, that competes in the Uzbekistan Super League. The Arabian Gulf Cup (, ''Kaʾs al-Khalīj al-ʿArabī''), also referred to simply as the Gulf Cup, is a biennial association football competition governed by the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation for its eight member nations. The AFC U-17 Asian Cup, formerly known as the AFC U-16 Championship and AFC U-17 Championship, is a football competition, organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held once every two years for Asian under-17 teams that also serves as a qualification tournament for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The top 4 countries qualify to participate in the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Up to 2000, the tournament was for U-16 teams. Between 2002 and 2006 it was held as an under-17 tournament. Between 2008 and 2020, it was switched back to a U-16 Championship. The AFC then returned it to an under-17 tournament starting from 2023. The AFC Champions League Two (abbreviated as the ACL Two or ACL2) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation. It is the second-tier competition of Asian club football, ranked below the AFC Champions League Elite and above the AFC Challenge League. The Iraq Cup (), commonly known as the Iraq FA Cup, is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in men's domestic Football in Iraq, Iraqi football organised by the Iraq Football Association. First held in the 1948–49 season for clubs and institutions, it returned in the 1975–76 season as a clubs-only competition. The 2020–21 Iraqi Premier League was the 47th season of the Iraqi Premier League since its establishment in 1974. The season started on 25 October 2020 and ended on 28 July 2021, with the relegation play-off held on 30 July 2021.
