Mo Chit 2
The Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), colloquially known as Mo Chit 2 () or New Mo Chit, is one of the main long-distance bus stations serving Greater Bangkok. Managed by The Transport Company, Ltd., (TCL), it's the main spot for those who are traveling by bus to and from the northern and northeastern provinces. Replacing the old Mochit Station, Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) was built to serve the changes of the BTS Skytrain depot and the increase in transportation. It was opened on April 8, 1998. However, there would be a move returning to the old Mochit Station due to the expansion of the Bang sue Central Station. Located on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road in Chatuchak District, near Queen Sirikit Park, The terminal can be reached by the nearest stations being Mochit BTS station and Chatuchak MRT station. SRT Dark Red Line
The SRT Dark Red Line, or Thani Ratthaya Line ( th, รถไฟชานเมือง สายธานีรัถยา) is part of the SRT Red Line suburban railway system to serve the greater Bangkok Metropolitan Region running for 26 km between Bang Sue Grand Station and Rangsit. When fully completed, the line will run on a north–south axis through Bangkok, from Thammasat University's Rangsit campus in Pathum Thani Province to Maha Chai in Samut Sakhon Province for a full length of nearly 87 km. Construction started in 2013 and was originally due to be completed within 3 years by the end of 2016. However, the project experienced numerous delays.
