Miyuki Ichijo
, known professionally as , was a Japanese voice actress and singer. Born in Mizusawa, Iwate, she decided to become a singer and underwent training at , and she became part of the cast of the music variety show in 1970. After leaving the show in 1972, she appeared on '' Okaasan to Issho'' and was inspired to go into voice acting after seeing a puppetry segment on the show. After starring in a few Japanese-language dubs of foreign media, she began voicing characters in anime, including Julie Braun in , Jody Rockwell in ''Yawara!'', Jodie Starling in ''Case Closed'', and Misa Takatsuki in ''Project ARMS''. was a city located in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. It is currently part of the city of Ōshū. Mizusawa is home to one of the six International Latitude Observatories. The observatories were close to the parallel of 39 degrees 8 minutes north latitude. They worked together to study the Earth's "wobble" using stars selected by Dr. Kimura, the astronomer in charge of the Mizusawa station. Twelve groups of stars that had six pairs of stars each were chosen. Two groups of stars were observed at each station following a schedule of dates, time, and duration prepared by Kimura.
