Miss Universe Nepal 2024
Miss Universe Nepal 2024 (MUN 2024) was the 8th edition of the Miss Universe Nepal pageant and the first edition under Global Glamour Venture organization. National Director Sangita Puri crowned Sampada Ghimire of Bhaktapur at the end of the event who represented Nepal at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico. The Miss Nepal crown was revealed by Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023 of Nicaragua. The event was nationally live streamed by AP1 HD on television and internationally via Miss Universe Youtube Channel. Background Global Glamour Venture On 11 January 2024, Global Glamour Venture organized a press conference announcing the change of organizers of Miss Universe Nepal. Acknowledging the contributions of previous organizers, a new set of team was announced. Sangita Puri was introduced as the new National Director, Sabi Puri as the CEO and president of MUN and Alok Chhetri as the managing director of the organization. Godavari Sunrise Convention Center
Godavari Sunrise Convention Center (Nepali: गोदावारी सनराइज सम्मेलन केन्द्र) is the second largest convention center of Nepal. The assembly hall was constructed in 43 Ropanis (approx 21875 m2)of land at a cost of NPR 810 million. The assembly hall has the capacity of 3000 people. The center was inaugurated by KP Sharma Oli in 2021. Architecture and facility The main building of the center has been designed as symbol of rising sun and occupies about 27% of total land. The main hall is 28 m high and has a capacity of 3000 people. There is garden with area of 16 Ropanis (8140 m2) and has a parking area of 13 Ropanis (6614 m2). Mister Supranational 2023
Mister Supranational 2023 the seventh edition of the Mister Supranational pageant which was held on 15 July 2023 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Luis Daniel Gálvez of Cuba crowned Iván Álvarez Guedes of Spain as his successor at the end of the event. This was the first time that Spain had won this pageant, and the first European country to do so. Background Starting in 2023, the Miss Supranational Organization has decided to accept men from the ages of 18 to 34 years old to participate in the pageant. Selection of participants Contestants from 34 countries and territories were selected to compete in the 2023 edition. The 2023 edition will witness the debut of Cameroon, Ghana, Malaysia, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe; and the returns of Canada, Equatorial Guinea, India, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, and South Africa. Koteshwar is a place, located in Kathmandu District. In 1991, Kathmandu Metropolitan City was expanded by incorporating Koteshwar as Ward No. 32 (previously 35).
