Miss Pakistan Universal () is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Pakistani representatives competing at the various international contests like Miss Aura International, Miss Planet and Miss Elite. The title "Miss Pakistan Universal" was first created by president of Miss Pakistan World Sonia Ahmed when the winner of Miss Pakistan Universal was assigned to represent the country at the Miss Aura International 2022 in Turkey. History The first Miss Pakistan Universal was crowned on 31 January 2022 in Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Shafaq Akhtar was also the first Christian girl to even win a pageant and represent Pakistan internationally. She was also the first working doctor to win the Miss Pakistan Universal title. Miss Grand Pakistan () is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Pakistan representatives competing at the Miss Grand International contest. The title was first mentioned in 2013 when the winner of Miss Pakistan World 2013 was assigned to represent the country at the inaugural edition of Miss Grand International in Thailand, and was placed among the top 20 finalists, which was also considered the highest and only placement obtained by Pakistani candidates at the mentioned international tournament. Miss Earth Pakistan () is a national beauty pageant title presented to Pakistani delegates who participate in the Miss Earth competition. This title was initially acquired in 2005 by the president of Miss Pakistan World, Sonia Ahmed pageant was chosen to represent Pakistan at the Miss Earth 2005 pageant held in the Philippines. History In 2005, Pakistan made its debut at Miss Earth when Naomi Zaman, the winner of the Miss Pakistan World pageant held in Toronto, was designated by the president of Miss Pakistan World, Sonia Ahmed, to represent Pakistan in the Miss Earth pageant. Miss Trans Pakistan is a pageant for the trans women of Pakistan founded by Sonia Ahmed. It is part of the Miss Pakistan World pageant. History In 2020, during COVID-19, the Miss Pakistan World pageant moved from Toronto Canada to Lahore, Pakistan. The first Miss Pakistan World crowned in Pakistan in August 2020 was Areej Chaudhary.This allowed the pageant to expand to allow trans women to become part of Pakistan's pageantry. Miss Earth 2023
Miss Earth 2023 was the 23rd edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the Vạn Phúc City Water Music Square in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on December 22, 2023. Mina Sue Choi of South Korea crowned Drita Ziri of Albania as her successor at end of the event. This edition was the first time Albania has won the pageant, and its first crown in the Big Four international beauty pageants. At 18 years and 210 days, Ziri became the youngest winner of Miss Earth. She surpassed the inaugural titleholder Catharina Svensson, who won as Miss Earth 2001 at the age of 19. Areej Chaudhary (Urdu: اریج چوہدری; born 7 May 1997) is a Pakistani actress and the winner of Miss Pakistan World 2020 and was sent to Miss Earth 2020 virtually to represent Pakistan. She is also a psychologist by profession. Early life Areej Chaudhary was born on 7 May 1997 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She did her schooling in Jeddah from Springhill International School and Bloomfield Hall School in Pakistan and later enrolled at Comsats University in Lahore for graduation in psychology.
