Milad Maydavoodi
Milad Meydavoudi (, born 20 January 1985 in Masjed Soleyman) is an Iranian soccer, football player, who last played for Naft Masjed Soleyman F.C., Naft Masjed Soleyman in Persian Gulf Pro League. He was appointed as assistant coach of Khooshe Talaei Saveh F.C. Club career Meydavoudi started his career at Esteghlal Ahvaz with whom he made his professional debut in 2004. He was brought to Esteghlal Ahvaz by Nasser Hejazi from youth team. In the next season he played for PAS Tehran F.C., Pas Tehran because of army services and quickly emerged as a promising youngster, before moving back to Esteghlal Ahvaz for the 2006–07 Persian Gulf Cup, 2006–07 season. On February 1, 2008 Meydavoudi signed a 4-month loan contract with UAE League side Al-Ahli (Dubai), Al-Ahli for a transfer fee of $600,000. Masjed Soleyman
Masjed Soleyman () is a city in the Central District (Masjed Soleyman County), Central District of Masjed Soleyman County, Khuzestan province, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. Persian Gulf Pro League
The Persian Gulf Pro League (, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Premier League (, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is a professional association football league in Iran and the highest level of the Iranian football league system. It is controlled by the FFIRI and is contested by 16 teams over a 30-matchday period. Each year, its top team becomes the Iranian football champion, and the two lowest finishers are relegated to the Azadegan League. Since 2013, the league comprises 16 teams. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in most countries and territories in Asia. The AFC was formed in 1954. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (, ) formerly known as Pahlavi Cup () is an Iranian knockout football competition held annually by the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran. The Iranian Football League, Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revival of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League (, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 (, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Azadegan League operates on a system of promotion and relegation. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2 (Iran), League 2. Since 2016, the league comprises 18 teams. The winner and the runner-up of the Azadegan League are automatically promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League. Parviz Mazloomi
Parviz Mazloomi (, born 16 September 1954) is a former Iranian footballer who is the team manager of the Esteghlal. He played for Esteghlal and Tractor Sazi in the 1970s and 1980s. He also managed many clubs such as Saba Battery, Sanat Naft, Aboumoslem, Mes Kerman and Esteghlal. He was also head coach of Iran B team in 2007 West Asian Football Federation Championship which won the title. Early life Parviz Mazloumi was born on 16 September 1954 in Abadan, Iran. He had an older brother, Gholam Hossein Mazloumi who also was a well-known football player and played for both Esteghlal and Iran national football team. Gholam Hossein was also Esteghlal's head coach between 1988 and 1989. Playing career As a player, he started his career playing at Tractor Sazi in 1975 where he scored nine goals during Takht Jamshid Cup. The 2010–11 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 28th season of Iran's Football League and tenth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Sepahan were the defending champions. The season featured 15 teams from the 2009–10 Persian Gulf Cup and three new teams promoted from the 2009–10 Azadegan League: Shahrdari Tabriz and Naft Tehran both as champions and Sanat Naft. Takhti Stadium (Ahvaz)
The Takhti Stadium of Ahvaz () is a multi-purpose stadium in Ahvaz, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football and rugby matches. The stadium is able to hold 15,000 people. It is currently home venue of Esteghlal Ahvaz. History The stadium was built in 1978, there have been many disputes as to the name of Takhti Stadium. The stadium had been the home of both Esteghlal Ahvaz and Foolad in past years. Foolad was relegated in 2007, they were as such not allowed to play all the matches in this stadium. The UAE Pro League (), also known as the ADNOC Pro League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the highest level of the Emirati football league system.
