Parviz Mazloomi
Parviz Mazloomi (, born 16 September 1954) is a former Iranian footballer who is the team manager of the Esteghlal. He played for Esteghlal and Tractor Sazi in the 1970s and 1980s. He also managed many clubs such as Saba Battery, Sanat Naft, Aboumoslem, Mes Kerman and Esteghlal. He was also head coach of Iran B team in 2007 West Asian Football Federation Championship which won the title. Early life Parviz Mazloumi was born on 16 September 1954 in Abadan, Iran. He had an older brother, Gholam Hossein Mazloumi who also was a well-known football player and played for both Esteghlal and Iran national football team. Gholam Hossein was also Esteghlal's head coach between 1988 and 1989. Playing career As a player, he started his career playing at Tractor Sazi in 1975 where he scored nine goals during Takht Jamshid Cup. Abadan
Abadan (; ) is a city in the Central District (Abadan County), Central District of Abadan County, Khuzestan province, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. Samad Marfavi
Abdolsamad Marfavi (; born May 18, 1964, in Khorramshahr), better known as Samad Marfavi (Persian: ), is an Iranian football coach and former player. Club career He played the majority of his playing career for IPL giants Esteghlal. International career Marfavi debuted for the Iranian national team against Kuwait on February 27, 1987. He scored 11 goals in 31 appearances for Iran. Ardeshir "Amir" Ghalenoei (; born 22 November 1963) is an Iranian association football, football coach and former player who currently manages Iran national football team. He has been the most successful coach in the Iran Pro League and managed several clubs, including Esteghlal Tehran FC, Esteghlal, Mes Kerman F.C., Mes Kerman, Sepahan S.C. and Tractor S.C., Tractor, with two of which he won a total of five championships and two Hazfi Cup titles. Sanat Naft Abadan Football Club (, ''Bāshgāh-e Futbāl-e San'at Naft-e Ābādān'') is an Iranian football club based in Abadan, Iran. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League (, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 (, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Azadegan League operates on a system of promotion and relegation. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2 (Iran), League 2. Iranian football's 2nd division () is the third-highest football (soccer), football division overall in the Iranian football league system. Before 2001, the 2nd division league was the second-highest division in the national football league system. However, it was changed to third-highest division when Iran's football structure officially became professional. The league consists of two, 14-team groups who play each other twice in a home and away format. The first- and second-placed teams in each group are automatically promoted to the Azadegan League. Mansour Pourheidari
Mansour Pourheidari (, 26 January 1946 – 4 November 2016) was an Iranian football player, coach and manager. He started his football career at Daraei, before joining Taj (currently known as Esteghlal) in 1965. He played ten years for Taj; between 1965 and 1975. Pourheidari returned to Daraei in 1975 to play his final career's two years at the club. He also played for Iran albeit earning three caps only. After retiring from playing football, Pourheidari started his coaching career, becoming assistant manager of Esteghlal. He was promoted to the first team manager in 1983. He was the head coach of the club for nine years overall, managing them in 309 games. He is also the only Iranian who has won AFC Champions League as both player and coach.
