Mikael Appelgren (handballer)
Mikael Appelgren (born 6 September 1989) is a Swedish handball player for Rhein-Neckar Löwen. He won silver medals at the 2018 European Championship. Career Appelgren started playing handball at GF Kroppskultur, before joining IFK Skövde in 2009. In the 2011–12 season he was part of the Swedish league all-star team. After three seasons at IFK Skövde he joined German Bundesliga team MT Melsungen. Here he played for three seasons before joining league rivals Rhein-Neckar Löwen for the 2015–16 season to get more playing time. Here he won the German championship in his first season at the club. This was the first championship in club history. In 2017 he won the league for a second time. In 2018 he was named Swedish handballer of the year. At the end of the 2019–20 season Appelgren was operated for a finger injury. In October 2020 he had to be operated again due to a tendon injury in the shoulder. Uddevalla is a Stad (Sweden), town in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It’s the seat of Uddevalla Municipality. In 2015, it had a population of 34,781, making it the largest town fully in Bohuslän. Andreas Miroslav Palicka (; , ; born 10 July 1986) is a Swedish professional handball player for Paris Saint-Germain and the Swedish national team. Club career Palicka began his professional handball career at Redbergslids IK in 2002. He joined German club THW Kiel in 2008, and won the German Championship and German Cup in his debut season with the team. Palicka went on to win five additional league titles, three additional cup titles, the EHF Champions League twice, the IHF Super Globe, and four German Super Cup titles during his time with the club. In 2015, he moved to Danish side Aalborg Håndbold. Following a season with the club, Palicka returned to Germany and signed for Rhein-Neckar Löwen in 2016.
