Palicka began his international career by representing Sweden at youth level, playing for the
under-19 and
under-21 sides. He was part of the under-21 team that won the
2007 Junior World Championship.
Palicka made his debut for the
Swedish national team in 2007. He won the
2022 European Championship, placed second at the
2018 European Championship and
2021 World Championship, and finished third at the
2024 European Championship with the national team. Palicka represented Sweden at the
