The emperor of Japan is the hereditary monarch and head of state of Japan. Mikado Station
is a passenger railway station located in the city of Isumi, Chiba Prefecture Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Mikado Station is served by the Sotobō Line, and is located from the official starting point of the line at Chiba Station. Station layout Mikado Station has a single side platform connected to a station building constructed out of two modified freight containers. The platform is short, and can handle trains with a maximum length of eight cars. Platform History Mikado Station was opened on 16 August 1903 as a freight station on the Bōsō Railway. Scheduled passenger operations began from 14 January 1905. Michel Warschawski
Michel Warschawski (Mikado) (; born 25 July 1949) is an Israeli anti-Zionist activist. He led the Marxist Revolutionary Communist League (previously Matzpen-Jerusalem) until its demise in the 1990s, and founded the Alternative Information Center, a joint Palestinian-Israeli non-governmental organization, in 1984. Biography Michel Warschawski was born 1949 in Strasbourg, France, where his father was the Rabbi. At the age of 16 Warschawski moved to Jerusalem, in order to study the Talmud. He is a graduate of Mercaz HaRav. He later studied philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Operation Mikado
Operation Mikado was the code name of a military plan by the United Kingdom to use Special Air Service troops to attack the home base of Argentina's five Super Etendard strike fighters at Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, during the 1982 Falklands War. Brigadier Peter de la Billière was in charge of planning the operation. The British Task Force had been successfully attacked by these Argentinean aircraft using French Exocet air-to-sea missiles, sinking two ships. This operation was intended to destroy the three remaining Exocet missiles that Argentina had in its possession as well as the Super Étendard launch aircraft. It was also intended to kill the pilots in their quarters. To achieve this, Brigadier Peter de la Billière ( Director of the SAS) proposed an operation similar to Operation Entebbe, which consisted of landing 55 SAS soldiers in two Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft directly on the runway at Rio Grande.
