Michael James Owen (born 14 December 1979) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Striker (association football), striker for Liverpool F.C., Liverpool, Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid, Newcastle United F.C., Newcastle United, Manchester United F.C., Manchester United and Stoke City F.C., Stoke City, as well as the England national football team, England national team. Since retiring from football in 2013, he has become a racehorse breeder and owner and regularly features as a sports pundit and commentator. Owen is widely considered to be one of the greatest strikers of his generation and in Premier League history. In 2001, Owen was the recipient of the 2001 Ballon d'Or, Ballon d'Or. Chester
Chester is a cathedral city in Cheshire, England, on the River Dee, Wales, River Dee, close to the England–Wales border. The Premier League is a professional association football league in England and the highest level of the English football league system. Contested by 20 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the English Football League (EFL). Gérard Houllier
Gérard Paul Francis Houllier (; 3 September 194714 December 2020) was a French professional football manager and player. Clubs he managed include Paris Saint-Germain, Lens and Liverpool, where he won the FA Cup, League Cup, FA Charity Shield, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2001. He then guided Lyon to two French titles, before announcing his resignation on 25 May 2007. He became manager of Aston Villa in September 2010. A hamstring () is any one of the three posterior thigh muscles in human anatomy between the hip and the knee: from medial to lateral, the semimembranosus, semitendinosus and biceps femoris. The Premier League Golden Boot is an annual association football award presented to the leading goalscorer in the Premier League. For sponsorship purposes, it was called the Carling Golden Boot from 1994 to 2001, the Barclaycard Golden Boot from 2002 to 2004, the Barclays Golden Boot from 2005 to 2016, the Cadbury Golden Boot from 2017 to 2020, and the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Golden Boot for 2021. Terry Owen
Leslie Terence Owen (born 11 September 1949) is an English former footballer who played as a striker. He is the father of former England international striker Michael Owen. He began his career at Everton before signing with Bradford City in June 1970. He was sold to Chester in June 1972 for a fee of £1,000. He helped the club to promotion out of the Fourth Division in 1974–75, as well as a semi-final appearance in the League Cup and a Fifth Round appearance in the FA Cup. He joined Rochdale via Cambridge United in 1977 before moving on to Port Vale in 1979. The next year he entered the non-League scene with Northwich Victoria, Oswestry Town, Colwyn Bay, Caernarfon Town, and Prestatyn Town.
