Michael Maronna
Michael C. Maronna (born September 27, 1977) is an American actor, who has appeared in several television programs and films. He is best known for his roles as "Big Pete" Wrigley on the television series ''The Adventures of Pete & Pete'' and as Jeff McCallister in the movie ''Home Alone'' (1990) and '' Home Alone 2: Lost in New York'' (1992). Early life and education Maronna was born in Brooklyn, New York, to a firefighter father and a guidance counselor mother. He is of one half Italian, three-eighths Irish, and one-eighth Dutch descent. He was the first grandchild in a big family, which included one younger brother and sister. As a teenager, he went to Hunter College High School in New York City, before attending Purchase College of the State University of New York, where he studied documentary/nonfiction filmmaking. ''The Final Days'' is a humorous short film produced by the White House to screen at the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner in April 2000. It stars then-President of the United States Bill Clinton as himself. ''Lucky'' is the fifth album by alternative rock band Nada Surf. It was released on Barsuk in 2008. Recording Frontman Matthew Caws said, "I feel like it is a pretty heavy record, and that is a product of John Goodmanson, the guy who made it because even the songs that were even moderately rocking – now that they are mixed and mastered, they feel like they are really kickin’ even when they are relatively quiet, so that’s thanks to him. I think it is a little heavier than ''Let Go'', but it’s not as heavy as ''The Proximity Effect''." Nada Surf is an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 1992, consisting of Matthew Caws (guitar, vocals), Ira Elliot (drums), and Daniel Lorca (bass, backing vocals). After initially operating under the name Helicopter, Caws and Lorca switched to Nada Surf. In 1995, Ira Elliot joined on drums, and they met Ric Ocasek, former frontman of the Cars, who produced their debut album, '' High/Low'', in 1996.
