Michael Jennings (born September 7, 1979) is an American former professional football wide receiver. Early life Jennings attended Nathan Bedford Forest High School in Jacksonville, Florida, and was a student, and earned three letters in football and one in track as a senior sprinter. College career Jennings never played football in college. He was a track and field athlete at Florida State, earning 3 letters as a Seminole and winning the ACC Championship as a member of the 4 × 400 relay team. Professional career Michael Jennings entered the National Football League by signing with the San Francisco 49ers in 2002, but was cut before the season. Jennings was then selected in the 4th round of the 2003 NFL Europe Free Agent Draft by the Scottish Claymores. In 2004, he signed with the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens before being cut by both. Michael "The Lurcher" Jennings (born 9 September 1977) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1999 to 2010. He challenged once for the vacant WBO welterweight title in 2009. At regional level, he held the British welterweight title from 2005 to 2006. He has 2 sons, Mikey and Jack, and a daughter, Macy. Mike Jennings (rugby Union)
Michael William Jennings (born 21 December 1946) is a South African former international rugby union player. Born in Randfontein, Jennings is the son of Springboks prop forward CB Jennings and attended Dale College in King William's Town. He participated at the inaugural Craven Week in 1964 and was one of four to become a Springbok. Jennings represented several provinces while obtaining teaching qualifications, turning out for North Eastern Cape, Boland, Western Province, Transvaal and Eastern Transvaal over the years. While attached to Boland, Jennings gained a Springboks call up for their 1969–70 tour of Britain and Ireland, where his participation was limited to eight non Test fixtures.
