Micha Rahmen
Micha Rahmen (born 1 February 1971), son to Bruno Rahmen, is a retired Swiss footballer, who played either as defender or midfielder. Football career Born in Basel Rahmen played his youth football with local club FC Concordia Basel and advanced to their first team in 1989. He signed his first professional contract with Grasshopper Club for the 1990–91 Nationalliga A season. Rahmen won the Nationalliga A championship that season, but the club did not prolong Rahmens contract and so he moved on. Rahmen joined FC Basel's first team during their 1991–92 season under head-coach Ernst-August Künnecke. After playing in seven test games Rahmen played his domestic league debut for his new club in the home game in the St. Jakob Stadium on 24 July 1991 as Basel played a 1–1 draw with Yverdon-Sports. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield player whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. Defenders fall into four main categories: centre-backs, full-backs, sweepers, and wing-backs. The centre-back and full-back positions are most common in modern formations. Massimo Ceccaroni (born 15 August 1968) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a defender or midfielder. He played for FC Basel for very nearly his entire career. He was later trainer at amateur club BSC Old Boys and then trainer of the Basel U21 team. Between 2012 and 2020 he was technical manager of the youth department. The Challenge League (known as the Dieci Challenge League for sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest tier of the Swiss football league system and lower of two professional leagues in the country. Ten teams play in the Challenge League; the winners of the league are promoted to the Swiss Super League, Super League, while the bottom-placed team is relegated to the Promotion League. Dario Zuffi
Dario Zuffi (born 7 December 1964) is a Swiss football coach and former international player. He is currently employed as assistant coach for FC Winterthur. Career Playing career Zuffi played his youth football with the local Winterthur team FC Töss. In 1983 he moved across town to join FC Winterthur's first team and signed his first professional contract for the 1983–84 Nationalliga A season. He prolonged the contract and he played with Winterthur for two seasons before he moved on. In the off-season before the 1985–86 Nationalliga A season Zuffi transferred to BSC Young Boys. Ørjan Berg
Ørjan Berg (born 20 August 1968) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is the current sporting director of Bodø/Glimt. Berg retired at the end of the 2006 season, having played for Bodø/Glimt, Wettingen, TSV 1860 Munich, Basel and Rosenborg. He is the brother of Bodø/Glimt player Runar Berg and the son of midfielder and playmaker Harald Berg. Martin Jeitziner (born 13 January 1963) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a midfielder in the 1980s and 1990s. Career Jeitziner played his youth football with FC Basel and advanced to their first team during their 1980–81 season under head-coach Helmut Benthaus.
