Mia Löjdahl
Mia Löjdahl (born 20 May 1973) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. She won the 1994 European Lady Junior's Team Championship, topped the Swedish Golf Tour Order of Merit in 1995 as an amateur, and played on the Ladies European Tour six seasons 1997–2002. Amateur career Löjdahl was born in Karlskrona and grew up in Ronneby. She showed a talent for golf early and joined the National Team at 15. She attended a golf boarding school in Perstorp alongside Fredrik Andersson Hed and Cecilia Ekelundh, before enrolling at University of California, Los Angeles and playing on the UCLA Bruins women's golf team. Löjdahl wassuccessfulon the National Team and won silver at the inaugural European Girls' Team Championship in 1991 together with Anna Berg, Charlotta Sörenstam and Maria Hjorth. Karlskrona
Karlskrona (, , ) is a locality and the seat of Karlskrona Municipality, Blekinge County, Sweden with a population of 66,675 in 2018. It is also the capital of Blekinge County. Pia Nilsson (golfer)
Pia Nilsson (born 8 May 1958) is a Swedish professional golfer and coach. She was one of the two players, who were the first female Swedes to play collegiate golf at a University in the United States and the first Swede to captain a European Solheim Cup team. Early years Born in Malmö, Nilsson began playing golf at around 10 years of age, with her family at Torekov Golf Club in another part of Scania in southern Sweden, when they spend their summers there. At 14 years of age, her handicap had gone down to 10. In her golf career, she later also came to represent Ystad Golf Club, Jönköping Golf Club, Ljunghusen Golf Club and Lidingö Golf Club. The Ladies Finnish Open is a professional women's golf tournament held in Finland. It was played as part of the Swedish Golf Tour 1998–2011, the LET Access Series 2012–2019, and after a one year hiatus, added to the Ladies European Tour in 2021. 1999 Ladies Asian Golf Tour
The Ladies Asian Golf Tour is a women's professional golf tour that was established as the Ladies Asia Golf Circuit in 1983 and known as the Kosaido Ladies Asia Golf Circuit 1987–2004 for sponsorship reasons. The tour was sanctioned by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation since its inception as an official Asian ladies' tour. By 2005 there were five established women's professional tours in the world, of which two were in Asia, namely the LPGA of Japan Tour and the LPGA of Korea Tour. The Swedish Match Play Championship is a golf tournament played since 1904, held for both men and women. It is the oldest and most traditional golf tournament in Sweden. The name SM is shortening in Swedish language for "Svenska Mästerskapet" (the Swedish Championship). Swedish International Stroke Play Championship
The Swedish International Stroke Play Championship or Swedish International (SI) was a golf tournament played in Sweden from 1945 to 2007. It has been featured on the Swedish Golf Tour and the Challenge Tour. Named the Swedish Golf Federation 72-hole Stroke Play Championship at inception, it was known locally as the Svenskt Internationellt Slagtävlingsmästerskap (SISM) until it formally assumed the name Swedish International in 1984. Professionals and amateurs competed separately from 1945 to 1958, before being amateur only from 1959 to 1983, turning open to any golfer from 1984 with the introduction of the Swedish Golf Tour (SGT).
