Meron Mendel
Meron Mendel (; born 1976) is an Israeli-German social scientist, professor, educator, writer and director of the Anne Frank Education Centre in Frankfurt/Main. He became known for his public statements in German news media as an expert on German-Israel relations and for his work in educational projects to combat racism and antisemitism. Life and career Under his leadership, the centre expanded its activities with a multimedia learning laboratory for young people, two counselling units for victims of right-wing violence, as well as exhibitions, for example on The Holocaust in comics. Further, the local institution has become an internationally active organization. Ramat Gan
Ramat Gan (, ) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, located east of the municipality of Tel Aviv, and is part of the Gush Dan, Gush Dan metropolitan area. It is home to a Diamond Exchange District (one of the world's major diamond exchanges), Sheba Medical Center (the largest hospital in Israel) and many high-tech industries. Ramat Gan was established in 1921 as a moshava, a communal farming settlement. In it had a population of almost 200,000. Adania Shibli () is a Palestinian author and essayist. She is mainly known for the 2020 translation of her 2017 novel '' Minor Detail'' into English by Elisabeth Jaquette, as well as its 2022 translation into German by Günther Orth, which formed the subject of a public controversy in Germany following the cancellation of a literary prize for this book, originally scheduled for the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair. Boycott, Divestment And Sanctions
Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) is a nonviolent Palestinian-led movement promoting boycotts, divestments, and economic sanctions against Israel. Its objective is to pressure Israel to meet what the BDS movement describes as Israel's obligations under international law, defined as withdrawal from the occupied territories, removal of the separation barrier in the West Bank, full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and "respecting, protecting, and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties". Farid Hamed El Abdellaoui (born 4 June 1986), better known as Farid Bang, is a German gangsta rapper and bodybuilder of Spanish- Moroccan descent. Felix Martin Andreas Matthias Blume (born 3 August 1984), known professionally as Kollegah, is a German rapper. He releases his music via his own label, Alpha Music Empire. Johann Sebastian Bach composed the secular cantata (Time, which day and year doth make), BWV134.1, BWV134a, while he was in the service of the court of Leopold, Prince of Anhalt-Köthen. Bach wrote the work as a ''serenata'' for the celebration of New Year's Day 1719. The libretto by Christian Friedrich Hunold, an academic at the University of Halle, takes the form of a dialogue between two allegorical figures, ''Time'' and ''Divine Providence'', representing the past and future, respectively. Bach set the words in eight movements consisting of alternating recitatives and arias, culminating in a choral finale.
