Raequel Miller (born May 1, 1978), better known by her stage name Mercedes, is an American singer, rapper and R&B recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. She is best known for being signed to No Limit Records. Michael Lawrence Tyler (born September 22, 1970), better known by his stage name Mystikal, is an American rapper and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is noted for brash, obstreperous vocal delivery, characterized by a Southern rasp. He signed with local record label Big Boy Records to release his self-titled debut studio album (1994), which was re-released by Jive Records the following year as his major label debut, '' Mind of Mystikal'' (1995). The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States. Its members consist of record labels and distributors that the RIAA says "create, manufacture, and/or distribute approximately 85% of all legally sold recorded music in the United States". LP Album
The LP (from long playing or long play) is an analog sound storage medium, specifically a phonograph record format characterized by: a speed of rpm; a 12- or 10-inch (30- or 25-cm) diameter; use of the "microgroove" groove specification; and a vinyl (a copolymer of vinyl chloride acetate) composition disk. Introduced by Columbia Records in 1948, it was soon adopted as a new standard by the entire US record industry and, apart from a few relatively minor refinements and the important later addition of stereophonic sound in 1957, it remained the standard format for record albums during a period in popular music known as the album era. It was produced by Beats By the Pound. ''Rear End'' found mild success on the ''Billboard charts'' in the United States, but was not as successful as some of their other chart-topping releases during that time, only peaking at #72 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and #12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Shirley Murdock (born May 22, 1957) is an American R&B singer-songwriter. She is best known for her guest appearance alongside Charlie Wilson on Zapp and Roger's 1986 single " Computer Love", as well as her 1986 single, "As We Lay". The latter peaked at number 23 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and spawned from her self-titled debut album (1986), released by Elektra Records. Early life Murdock was born on May 22, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio. She attended and graduated from St. Ursula Academy. Career Murdock started out singing gospel music in her native Toledo. Singer/musician Roger Troutman hired Murdock as a backing vocalist for his family's band Zapp, which had several hits on Warner Bros. (and its Reprise Records imprint).
