Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class (W218)
The C218 Mercedes-Benz CLS is the second generation of the Mercedes CLS-Class range of four-door coupé sedans. The model shares the chassis and most of the technology with the W212 E-Class and was produced from 2011 to 2017. Unlike its predecessor, the C218/X218 CLS can be optioned with all-wheel drive 4MATIC on all models including CLS 63 AMG variants. Mercedes also introduced a new five-door estate version to the CLS lineup, called the CLS Shooting Brake. The C218 CLS-Class was succeeded by the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class (C257) in 2018. Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
The Mercedes-Benz CLS (initially called the CLS-Class) is a series of executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from December 2003 to August 2023. The original model was a four-door Sedan (car), sedan based on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Mercedes E-Class platform, marketed as a four door coupé. An Station wagon, estate (shooting brake) model was later added to the model range with the second generation CLS. All models are available as a high performance AMG variant, although it wasn't until the second generation CLS that 4MATIC all-wheel drive was offered. Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class (C257)
The C257 Mercedes-Benz CLS is the third generation of the CLS range of four-door sedan, and was launched in 2018 as the successor to the Mercedes-Benz CLS (C218). It is only available as a sedan, with no plans to introduce a Shooting Brake variant in the near future. It is based heavily on the E-Class (W213). The C219 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is the first generation of the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, CLS-Class range of four-door coupe which features a fastback body style by Mercedes-Benz, and was produced between 2003 and 2010.
