The Merano Cup () was an annual international figure skating competition which is generally held in November in Merano, Italy. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, and pair skating Pair skating is a figure skating discipline defined by the International Skating Union (ISU) as "the skating of two persons in unison who perform their movements in such harmony with each other as to give the impression of genuine Pair Skating ... at the senior, junior, and novice levels. Figure Skating Competition
A figure skating competition is a judged sports competition in figure skating. Types of figure skating competitions International International competitions sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) are governed by the union's rules. Javier Fernández López (; born 15 April 1991) is a Spanish former figure skater. Maurizio Zandron
Maurizio Zandron (born 15 November 1992) is an Italian-born figure skater who currently competes for Austria; he previously represented Italy until 2018. He is the winner of several medals in international competition, including gold at the 2016 Denkova-Staviski Cup, 2018 Bavarian Open, and 2018 Sofia Trophy. Stéphane Walker (born 25 December 1990) is a Swiss figure skater. Competing in men's singles, he won ten international medals, including two on the ISU Challenger Series, and became a five-time Swiss Figure Skating Championships, Swiss national champion (2013–14, 2016–18). Jiří Bělohradský (born 20 January 1999) is a Czech competitive figure skater. He is the 2015 Merano Cup bronze medalist and two-time Czech national champion. He has qualified for the free skate at three ISU Championships. Personal life Jiří Bělohradský was born on 20 January 1999 in Mariánské Lázně, Czech Republic. Konstantin Menshov
Konstantin Alexandrovich Menshov (; born 23 February 1983) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 European bronze medalist, the 2015 Finlandia Trophy champion, a two-time (2010, 2012) Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, a two-time (2007, 2012) NRW Trophy champion, and the 2011 Russian national champion. Denis Yurievich Ten (; 13 June 1993 – 19 July 2018) was a Kazakhstani figure skater. He was the 2014 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World medalist (silver in 2013, bronze in 2015), the 2015 Four Continents champion, the 2017 Winter Universiade champion, and a five-time national champion of Kazakhstan. is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2014 NHK Trophy champion, 2011 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion, and 2009 Japan Junior bronze medalist.
