Melki Sedek Huang
Melki Sedek Huang (born 15 October 2000) is an Indonesian activist who was the chairman of the student executive council at University of Indonesia (UI) from 21 January 2023 until his dismissal on 18 December 2023 due to sexual violence. Life and career Huang was born on 15 October 2000 in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, as the eldest child and only son of the two children of Erny Susanti and Rama Yuddi Huang. He had a younger sister, Nadya Calista Huang. Huang graduated from Pontianak 1st State High School in 2019 and studied law at the University of Indonesia. As a student activist, he was involved in organizations such as the Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia (BEM UI). Pontianak
Pontianak, also known as Khuntien in Teochew and Hakka, is the capital of the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan, founded first as a trading port on the island of Borneo, occupying an area of 118.21 km2 in the delta of the Kapuas River, at a point where it is joined by its major tributary, the Landak River. Habiburokhman (born 17 September 1974) is an Indonesian lawyer and politician of the Gerindra Party who has served as a member of the House of Representatives since 2019 representing Jakarta I district. Prior to his election into the council, he was active in the 2014 and 2019 presidential campaigns of Prabowo Subianto, and the gubernatorial campaigns of Joko Widodo and Anies Baswedan in Jakarta. Early life and education Habiburokhman was born in the city of Metro, in Lampung, on 17 September 1974. He remained in Lampung throughout most of his studies, graduating from a middle school in Metro and a high school in Bandar Lampung before enrolling at Lampung University, obtaining a bachelors and a masters in law. Ari Kuncoro (born 28 January 1962) is an Indonesian banker, Economics, economist, author university administrator, and the current rector of the University of Indonesia. He took office on 4 December 2019, succeeding Muhammad Anis. Before becoming the rector of the University of Indonesia (UI), Ari taught at the Faculty of Economics and Business, becoming the faculty's dean from 2013 until 2019.
