Melissa Bonny
Melissa Bonny (born 23 January 1993) is a Swiss heavy metal singer. She is best known for being the founder and vocalist of Ad Infinitum and former vocalist of Evenmore and Rage of Light. She also gained some popularity by recording music as well as touring with various bands such as Kamelot, Feuerschwanz, Rock Meets Classic and more. Bonny possesses a mezzo-soprano voice. She also masters guttural singing, to which she switches within songs. Career After graduating from school, Bonny was active in a cover band in the area around her hometown. She left in 2012 to join the symphonic folk metal band Evenmore as a singer. Evenmore (2012–2018) In 2012, Bonny joined the Swiss Symphonic Folk Metal band Evenmore. Ad Infinitum (stylised as AD IИFINITUM) is a Swiss symphonic metal band. Originally a solo project of Swiss singer Melissa Bonny, it turned into a full band with arrival of drummer Niklas Müller, bassist Jonas Asplind and guitarist Adrian Theßenvitz. The band signed a deal with Napalm Records in July 2019 and released a debut album, ''Chapter I: Monarchy'', in April 2020. Illumishade is a Swiss progressive metal band. The band was founded in 2019 by Eluveitie band members Fabienne Erni and Jonas Wolf and makes cinematic and fantasy music, combined with rock and heavy metal. The band's name is a combination of the English words illumination and shade and refers to the contrast between light and darkness that emerges in the songs, as well as the contrast between quiet and heavy songs.
