Mehboob Alam (cricketer)
Mehboob Alam () (born 31 August 1981) is a Nepalese cricketer. An all-rounder Mehboob bats left-handed and is a left-arm fast bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Japan in November 2000. Mehboob is a world record holder who has his name in the Guinness World Records for single-handedly bowling out an opponent, which he did by picking up 10 wickets for 12 runs in 7.5 overs bundling out Mozambique for just 19 runs during the 2008 ICC World Cricket League Division Five in Jersey. This was the best bowling figure in a Limited over cricket match. He represents the Sagarmatha Legends of the Nepal Premier League, Region No.1 Biratnagar of the National League and Pentagon International College, which plays in the SPA Cup. Rajbiraj
Rajbiraj () is a mid-sized municipality located in the south-eastern part of Madhesh Province of Nepal. The city is also called the "Pink City of Nepal" because the township was designed in 1938 based on influence from the "Indian Pink City" Jaipur - thus making it the first township in Nepal to receive urban planning. National League Cricket was an annual cricket tournament held in Nepal. It was administered by the Cricket Association of Nepal. History The first organized league cricket in Nepal was held in 2002 as Birendra Memorial National League Cricket. Due to heavy rain, the final game set on 18 May between Biratnagar and Bhairahawa had to be cancelled and winners were declared on the basis of net run rate achieved before the final match. The 2001 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament played in Ontario, Canada in 2001. It was the Cricket World Cup qualification tournament for the 2003 Cricket World Cup.
